Beautiful Surroundings

Here you will find heathered mountain's, streams and waterfals, a wealth of wild birds and animals. Cwmtylo is an award winning farm in many ways. We have countles awards for our flock of Welsh mountain sheep and the famous Welsh black cattle. Cwmtylo has been Nationaly recognised for its work within enviromental scheems, such as hedge laying, dry stone walling etc. Most of the land is recognised as a Special Site of Scientific Interest.

The farmhouse has, over the past few years been renovated to high standards, keeping the charm and the beauty of its original oak beams, and log burning inglenook fireplace's.

We cater for individuals, couples and families. Everyone is welcomed here at Cwmtylo.

You will wake up, and admire the beautifull setting of the farm, be able to walk within the 1,500 acres, taking in the beautiful scenery and rich wildlife, Maybe take part in one of the numerous farming activities, depending on time of year. Spring is when we're lambing, you could feed the pet lambs, or witness a birth of a new born lamb, early summer we shear the sheep for their wool, which will go on to make wooly jumpers or carpets. Mid summer we're hay making in the meadows. Autumn is a time of beautifull colours of the ancient woodlands found on the farm, and over Christmas and winter there is a great chance of waking up to see a beautifull blanket of virgin snow covering the land.

We have over 3 miles of private fishing, or you could hire our quad to treck over some of the land, by prior arangement.
